Why Annual Checkups Are Important

Your health is our biggest priority and our doctors are focused on keeping you safe.

We know that COVID-19 is a real concern; however, we know that your health is also a concern. Our Brandon, FL, primary care physicians Drs. Joel and Elizabeth Biggers are ensuring that all of their patients continue to get the medical care they have come to know and trust even during the pandemic.

What to Expect at Our Office

We believe that everyone should get the medical care they need even during a pandemic. Everything from urgent health concerns to annual wellness checkups is important, and we want our patients to know that our Brandon, FL, primary care physicians are still encouraging patients to come into the office.

Our office hours are the same and we do not anticipate changes or disruptions to our normal business hours. Same-day and urgent care appointments are also available.

How We Are Keeping You Safe

Our goal is to make your visit to our office as comfortable and stress-free as possible. Here’s what you can expect when you turn to us for care right now,

  • We are minimizing exposure by making sure all patients wait in the car until their appointment time in order to keep our waiting rooms at minimal capacity.
  • We are separating sick from non-sick patients by providing them with different routes into and out of the office.
  • Doctors certainly know how to keep things sanitized, so you better believe that we are ensuring the highest level of sanitation in our office right now. All equipment, seating areas and rooms are thoroughly sanitized before and after each patient using CDC guidelines, and all doctors and staff are wearing PPE.

Still feeling a bit nervous about seeing your doctor right now? We understand! That’s why we also offer drive-up appointments (stay in the car; we’ll come to you) and telehealth visits (so you don’t even have to leave the house). We don’t want people to skip out on getting the care they need right now.

Symptoms of COVID?

If you are concerned about possible exposure to COVID-19 or need to get tested for work, we are also offering COVID-19 testing in our office (no drive-up testing services are being offered right now). Those who are high risk for severe COVID-19 symptoms can also be treated by one of our primary care physicians right in their vehicle to limit your chance for exposure.
